Biography

i am a fiberartist living in louisville, ky. i am one of a growing number of displaced hillbillies and i very much miss my mountain home of eastern kentucky. my mamaw taught me how to crochet, and how to never sit still. i've been crocheting, sewing, and crafting since i was little, so, that's over 25 years of experience.

i have a degree in art and interior design, and out in the real world, i am a gardener.

i am obsessed with the idea of creating something out of nothing that is not only beautiful, but contains some sort of inherent usefulness. i bet that comes from the appalachian culture that surrounds me.
 
I am also a proud member of the Louisville Craft Mafia, a cooperative of craft businesses, owned by women, that provides each member with business opportunities, education, and support, in an environment of sisterhood and empowerment.
