Goo Goo Dolls hits Horseshoe Casino July 10
The Goo Goo Dolls brings their eclectic sound to Horseshoe Casino Hotel Southern Indiana on July 10. The Southern Indiana resort is just 25 minutes from downtown Louisville.
The band originally hailed from Buffalo, N.Y., and released its first album in 1987. Now based in Los Angeles, the Goo Goo Dolls' best-known songs are "Iris," "Slide," "Name" and "Here is Gone."
The Goo Goo Dolls is in the midst of recording an album of new material. The group released two greatest hits albums, volume 1 in 2007 and volume 2 in 2008. The 2007 movie Transformers: The Movie featured their song "Before It's Too Late." The band has sold 20 million records in the U.S. market.
The Goo Goo Dolls' concert is just one in Horseshoe Southern Indiana's Outdoor Summer Concert Series.
