I remember when my parents took my siblings and me to science and Imax theater. I still go for the exhibits and my church organization visits when we have a summer program for the children in the community.
Pros: many interesting things to look at and do.
Cons: none
 Not really for the under ten crowd!

I visited this past weekend with an almost 3 and almost 7 year old. Although my kids loved the KidZone area - an area with scheduled entrance times and a visit lasting only 45 minutes - the rest of the museum was over their heads. Some of the exhibits that would have been age appropriate didn't work. Overall it was just OK and I wish we had done the zoo instead but it is January! We'll visit Cincinnati's this weekend and report back.
Pros: KidZone area, climbing wall, easy parking

My husband and I have taken our children there many of times. And we always learn something new. The kids love going there.
