Woot! Woot!

We are Junction 907! We're just a local band looking to have lots of fun! That's what music is all about to us. Music is a lifestyle. We are curently sgined to Perfect Mishap Records of Louisville, Kentucky. We're looking for a drummer and a bass player right now. Umm we expect to have our first release (an acoustic verson of "The Story-EP") out by March 20, 2007. This band was started by 2 young "hip" teenagers named David and Dustin, mostly as a reason for David to not go crazy and now it's grown into a big thing that we're looking forward to keeping strong and humble. And that's who Junction 907! is.

A little more about us: We formed in April 2006 under the name "Gun Racket" but then changed the name to "Junction 907!" less than a week later. We began writing our songs in Late June early July 2006 and at this time only have 1 to music. We expect to have our first EP recorded by March and out by June or July 2007. Just keep a look out here for it all.!

In 2007 we expect to perform our first public show in Louisville, Kentucky and pending the turn out of that show along with money problems that'll need to be solved, we may tour during the summer of 2007. If this does work, and we do tour, then it'll be very small, like maybe 7 cities in like 8-10 days. All within 150 miles of Louisville, Ky. and we'll possibaly have our ep done and released by this time =].

Im a DJ/Producer, Dark Matter is my DJ/Producer name. I made most of the songs on here using Fruity Loops. I have been learning and messing around with Reason 4.0, Ableton Live 7, Cubase SX3, and Acid Pro 6 as much as I can.  Once I learn to use them better I should have some newer material posted on here. I dont have one type of style to catagorize the material I produce, I like producing electronic music and I like trying to come up with different stylez of Hip Hop. Music influences range from Hip Hop, Metal, and Electronic music (such as Breakbeat, Hardstyle, Drum'n Bass). Anyway I hope you enjoy some of the music I have posted.
