Biography:
I was born on July the 7th 1976 in Louisville Kentucky. I was raised by my Mother Kathy Yates, and Stepfather Aaron D. Yates. Music was always a part of my life from an early age. My Grandmother Anita Hamilton would write the notes on the keys of her piano and I would follow the notes. I went on to play guitar, bass, keyboard, and my favorite instrument drums. Drums and rhythm instruments will always be my first love. I began writing songs at the age of 15 and as I have gotten older the content continues to get more involved as well as my writing style. There are those songs that are not as serious as others. You can't be serious all of the time. I have played in so many different bands in Louisville. I played with The 4 Rose Society, Muddlust, a brief time with Voo Doo Love Taxi, Zero Cycle, 40 Watt Station, Fat Jane, and Francis Stillborne. I have recorded and wrote with many artists here in Louisville. In 1998 I became a Father for the first time with my Son and again in 2001 with my Daughter. This has made me look at life in a whole different way. I also was signed to an independent record label here in Louisville in 2006. Lavish Records Inc. along with my own record label Double K Records released "Lost" my debut album in 2006. I continue to write music in preparation for my next release "2nd Attempt At Fame". There is not yet a date for the album to be completed. I have put a couple tracks here on the site that will be a part of the album. I continue to play in bands as well as create music with the artists on Lavish Records Inc. I also play drums for a local group called Sigmund Fudd.
