 ANDREW  ADAM
The Star Machine is a Louisville based modern rock band. Right now there are only two members of our little band, Adam and myself (Andrew). The Star Machine is at this point more of a studio band. We focus more on recording and writing rather than playing live. Some people may recognize us from our former band The Cobalt. We released two CDs Choose Your Weapons and Thicker Than Blood. We played in the Louisville scene and took a brief tour of the southern states prior to 2001. We have recorded with Kenny Marine, Justin Gordinas, and Andrew (a.k.a. the kid, a.k.a. the boy wonder) Asher. Kenny has played in several local bands including 4 Rose Society and Francis Stillborne. Kenny has also recently released a full-length solo album titled Lost. He has a profile here on "Hello Louisville". Justin is currently in a band called Lee Van Cleef. He started out as the third part of the Louisville trio The Cobalt with Adam and I. He has also played with Teen Pregnancy and Jake and the Rubber Band. The Kid (Asher) is so far undiscovered.
