This place Rocks the Casbah!! This place is a great location, but the parking is a little hard. They make some of the best coffee in town. Everyone is friendly, and helpful. The espresso is so good, I could take a bath in it, well you get the idea. It’s a great place to sit and wi-fi the day away.

Bad location, good coffee! They are busy for a reason. The best place to get an iced latte. The worst part of going to this location is there is never any parking within “quick” walking distance – the best part is the hustle and bustle of the location.

The Music Rocks!! Named after the neighborhood it’s in, Clifton’s Pizza has great live music pretty much every night. Also, some of the best pizza in Louisville is right here, get it with extra garlic, though.

Cocktails 'r' Us Best dirty Martini in LBC. Only have two if they are lemon drop, Playboy, because they will drop you like you're hot.

Great Louisville Establishment Great Louisville Establishment. One of the best places to eat, but there are a lot of newer places to go.

Very Tasty Food and Great Location!!  This is a Louisville landmark vegetarian joint. The wait staff is unbelievably helpful, and the food is outstanding.

Great balls of Fire, or rather smoke!!  It's such a treat to have this joint in our downtown. The museum art inspires during an otherwise dismal work day. The food is matched by the atmosphere, and art. Have breakfast, lunch, dinner, or desert here. My favorite is lunch, the Hand Rolled Penne @ $10. In the heart of the Main Street corridor, this restaurant and museum is a destination.

K-12 Public School - Awesome Parents This school has a self directed learning philosophy, and a significant amount of parental involvement. The students, on graduation, are ready to be great citizens.

One of the best atmospheres in Louisville. The dining, with the vaulted ceilings, is extraordinary, perfectly coupled with the food. Unfortunatlly, they removed the fennell rather than the olives from my meal. It was still delectable, but seared tuna is always a treat.

A great lunch spot! A favorite place. The outside dining overlooking Frankfort Av is extremely pleasant, especially while casually consuming a curiously spicy curry dish. The only drawback is the noise from the traffic.

The best in Louisville!! This joint is the best in Louisville. It has three distinct dining areas. The kitchen rocks. In and out. Great food. $3 for the best margarita in Louisville on Tuesday and Wednesday.

Great Tofu!! The fried tofu appetizer it the best! Get it with peanut sauce, and there's nothing better.

Best place for Sashimi in Louisville The Chef's Sashimi plate is great. For $30 you can get enough sashimi for three people to hit the window, AKA, be stuffed. The presentation is extraordinary, and it is fresh, but very busy. You should call ahead to get reservations because it’s in the heart of the Highlands. They have hibachi grills, too, but they are on the opposite side of the restaurant, so the atmosphere is great.

Good stand by! Ah, the days of eating asparagus for lunch. A big plate of it, and brown rice. One of the best chains in town.

Pasta-rific! The pastas are great, especially the Greko - Feta, pine nuts, and spinach, all make a wonderful treat for lunch. It's often crowded, so get there early for lunch.

So calming, so terrific!  One of the best places in Jeffersonville. Coffee in the morning, coffee for lunch, music in the evening. This is a great coffee house, and they keep making it better. The lunch menu is well designed to offer everyone a wonderful experience.

Home cooked comfort food. If comfort food is your thing, you can't get much better than this for lunch in Jeff. They have a new special daily, and the same regulars daily.

Meat Eater's Extravaganza The new buzz on meat. The kids love getting messy while eating with their hands. You might, too, if you love meat.

Great Sushi Dive for Lunch? I went on a Saturday night around 9:00, and there weren't many people there. The joint looks well populated, so it must get a strong lunch crowd, and that must be when it shines (like a lot of other sushi shops). It was more authentic then most (actually had Japanese menus). It was $19 for a small sashimi plate. They had bento boxes, too.

This is a good rollout of Americana favorites Took my kid's, and they sat us in a section by ourselves, and they had no printed kid's menus or a kid's section on the adult menu. The kids had prime rib, and I had tuna. It was good, but only pink in middle, not the preferred red. Price per adult was 15-25 per plate. I tried a bite of the prime rib, and it was good, but not extraordinary. The atmosphere was above average - with out a doubt. I don't think I would go back.

I'm in this room right now! I'm in this room right now - well as I type. It's a blasé place to stay. Nothing stands out here; my room had a spot on the edge of the carpet fraying, and a cracked lamp. The pool is small (four foot max). The restaurant-in-the-round at the top of the building is empty, and needs renovation. The best thing about this is the people working, they are extremely friendly.

Iconoclastic American Icon in NashVegas-Viva Baby! Yes, that's right, we built a replica of the Parthenon, in Nashville, TN in 1897. We, as a country, were in love with all-things-greek, and this proves it. It is amazing, and if you have never been to Greece, it is worth a trip, to Nashville. The encompassing park is a grand space of the mid-west. It's $5 for adults to get inside.

Coffee for Dogs, no, inovative coffee for people! This shop used to be a pet shop, but now offers a full service menu, beer, and the best, coffee. The quad was very good, maybe the best I've had in a while. Order at the counter, then have a seat to get some good food. They offer bagels, pancakes, and egg plates at $6-7. It;s all prepared with your health in mind, so order up, and enjoy at this Nashville food gem.

A great place for Dinner and a Show! They serve a wonderful lunch or dinner meal. The risotto with vegetables makes a great lunch. Prices range from $7-14 per plate for lunch. It seems to cater to the people that come downtown for a dinner and show, so they make dinner extraordinary, and there is a mass migration right before a show starts, so you can get a good table after opening curtain at KCA.

Super hero Puppeteers !!! This highlight in Louisville culture makes everyone smile. They now have a Summer Camp for kids. The kids make their own puppets, write their own plays, and perform, just like the "real" troupe. They have been around, doing their thing since 1997. Squallis has worked with the Louisville Zoo, The Portland Museum, Speed Art Museum, the ACLU's Reproductive Freedom Project, Louisville Art Council, Kentucky Arts Council, Kentucky Shakespeare Festival, Louisville Free Public Library, Jefferson County Public Schools, Jobs with Justice, World Arts Youth Festival, Americana Community Center, Louisville Central Community Center, Kentucky Opera, and many neighborhood groups.

Dynamite Downtown Sushi! Moshi, Moshi. Sushi here. Went for lunch, and got a chef's sashimi plate at $18. It rocked. All the five flavors of love. It was nice, the miso soup, a salad, then an orange. It gets pretty crowded for lunch, so get there early. They are also open for dinner - this is a treat. The friendly service you can'nt beat anywhere.

They have sushi, and a grill . . .  Mediocre in service, presentation, and taste. I've only been once, and that was enough to know that I don't need to go back. I sat at the sushi bar, and the server kept reaching between me and the person I was there with, rather than reaching over the empty chair next to me. The sashimi was thrown together, no real care given to the presentation.

Kampai! What better place than Caviar.  Modern, upscale, sushi joint. This place has a lounge, private room ($500 for a meal for 10), and a great looking sushi bar. Expect the best from this place, it's far from your local sushi dive - not comfort-food-sushi; fitting right in in the Fourth Street Live district of downtown Louisville, the sashimi is a treat in a district full of excitement. I split a sashimi dinner, the obligatory soup and salad was the best I've seen served. The presentation of the sashimi was straight-forward and solid, but no garnishments out of the regular daikon and greens.
