We've found our niche in the simplistic, with the occasional foray into the whimsical. As published and prize-winning photographers we delight in finding the extraordinary in the ordinary.
Our photographs of the Amish probably best represent the mood we're trying to convey with our work. It is a challenge to capture their "Plain and Simple" ways without intruding. We admire their self sufficiency, devotion to family and community, and their function driven style.
Some of our other works evoke different emotions like the powerful portrait of a Soldier and his daughter at the Vietnam Wall in Washington D.C. or the tribute to John Lennon taken in New York's Central Park.
And yet a number of our pieces simply seek to provoke a smile. A cow-crossing sign in the middle of downtown Chicago; A rural billboard announcing Cheerful Chicken Eggs.
We've have a studio at the Mellwood Arts and Entertainment Center and are there at each of the Frankfort Avenue Trolley Hops (Last Friday of the Month).
