Artist Katherine Mary Pulzone has been represented by galleries in New York and New Jersey for over a decade.  Born in the Bronx, New York and later residing in New Jersey, she became a member of the New York Artist's League in New York, New York painting in the workshop of renowned artist Americo DiFranza where she studied portrait and full figure painting.  Self-taught, she began painting and drawing since the age of five, and has won numerous awards in juried art shows which were inspired by her travels throughout Italy, Ireland and many countries in Europe and throughout  the United States. 

You can commission the artist to paint your family home or heritage home.  If all you have are photos, she will go to the location and recreate your ancestor's home to your specifications. 

Katherine recently relocated to Louisville, Kentucky where she has set up her studio and offers private viewings of her collections.  Since moving to Louisville, Kentucky, she became a board member of the Louisville Italian-American Association and present participant in various artistic venues.  She is becoming a well-known artist in Louisville with her work purchased and displayed in various locations.  Much attention has been given to her "Passion for Italy" oil paintings and was contacted by owner Michelle Melillo to obtain several pieces for the grand opening of Melillo's Restaurant at Piazza di Felice on Market Street.   Some of her prints , which can be purchased in various sizes, have been auctioned for fundraisers here in Louisville., such as Bob Valvano Celebrity Bocce Tournament, known as V Bocce Tournament in the fight against cancer.

Katherine is a descendant of well known artist "Scipione Gaetano Pulzone" 1550-1598 from Gaeta, Italy whose masterpieces are on view throughout Italy's ancient churches,  museums and galleries; and  throughout the world.
