Bar None Louisville: The South End's Popular Watering Hole, Dance Spot

Bar None Louisville in the South End offers a variety of entertainment options for its patrons. From pool tables to dancers' poles, it’s possible to never experience a dull moment at Bar None Louisville.

Bar None opened its doors in December 2009; it formerly was the St. Andrews Pub. As a local dance spot, Bar None's DJs typically play a variety of music that can appeal to different musical genres. Hip-hop, rock, and Top 40 mash-ups are the tunes DJ JC, DJ Mikus, and DJ sdot spin for the crowd’s enjoyment.

The bar has a neighborhood feel, and its patrons feel right at home. Customer Alisha Eaten says she likes Bar None because she can “play a game of pool or dance the night away.” Owner Don Burns says the usual crowd is “women and men between the ages of 21 and 35.”  

“Fishbowl” drinks are a popular order; they are even big enough to share with friends. VIP tables and bottle service are available. Current drink special are Friday's “2 for 1’s” until 11 p.m. and Saturday’s $1 domestic beers until 11 p.m.  Another Saturday night drink special is "Shot 30.” Every hour, a siren and red lights will go off for five minutes, during which time customers can order any shot they want for $3. Manager Shane Cinnamon says this is a great drink special for Bar None's patrons.

Bar None is open just three days a week -- Thursdays through Saturdays from 7 p.m. to 4 a.m. -- but the staff prides itself on creating an environment that becomes the "wildest bar in Louisville." With the drink specials, dancing, pool tables, and dancers' poles, it has the potential to be a very wild night.
