Go Mobile Commerce

In 2008, Go Mobile Commerce was established as the nation's first wireless rental credit card equipment provider, without long term contracts, and who will work with your current merchant services provider. During our formative years beginning in 2006 in the Tacoma Small Business Incubator as a merchant services provider, we received a call from Tall Ships, a non profit organization that sails into Commencement Bay every three years. The pirates were looking for a way to sell souvenirs on-board their tall ships. We quickly learned pirates, as do many charitable organizations, need a wireless payment solution to take credit cards for the short term use. We purchased four machines to rent to the pirates and as they sailed away, Go Mobile Commerce was established to re-rent the pirates' wireless machines. Our next rental shipped to Washington D.C. for President's Obama Inaguaration, then Kansas City, for Lee Jean's Demin Day, then to Frisco for a golf tournament for the Association for the US Army...It was not before long that Go Mobile's rentals had visited nearly all 50 states! Since our launch, Go Mobile has introduced slogans, which include, "Anywhere business takes you" and "It's GO time!" We have partnered with fairs, farmers markets, and national non profit organizations with our rental program. New technologies have been introduced. Go Mobile's been quick to include the latest products on the market. Go Mobile will continue to be on the forefront of innovation, service, and excellence. In 2007, Forbes named Tacoma as the nation's most "Most Wired City". In 2012, Go Mobile is ready to change that Tacoma namesake to the nation's "Most Wireless City." In early 2012, Go Mobile will lead the nation as a first to open a retail storefront which focuses soley on wireless payment solutions. Business owners and/or organizations can visit Go Mobile's showroom to see, touch, feel, and demo the vast wireless payment product lines and technologies. The product lines include smartphone applications, card readers, printers for the iPhone, iPad, Droid, and Blackberry, Pay at the Table/ Point of Sale devices, e-commerce gateways, and handheld devices which run via WiFi, BlueTooth, and GPRS. Current Clients can visit to purchase supplies, receive technical assistance, attend education and training courses, or pick up a wireless rental for their weekend event. Many have helped Go Mobile gain its roots to grow, and because of this, we strive to give back to organizations that can make this world a better place. Go Mobile's founders and staff are actively involved in Junior League of Tacoma, volunteering at the Boys and Girls Club and the YMCA. In 2010, the Business Examiner ranked Go Mobile as the 10th largest female-owned business in Pierce County (Ranked #25 in 2009).
