Book and Music Exchange: The Place to Go When You Want to Buy, Sell or Trade
For used books, DVDs, CDs, vinyl, video games, and video game systems, no local retailer can match the low prices at Book and Music Exchange. Book and Music Exchange stores are divided fairly equally between type of merchandise. Books fill one-third of the store, CDs take up another third, and DVDs fill the remainder of the space. Video games have their own space in a separate section of the store. Each section is organized alphabetically and grouped by genre; digging through unsorted items is never required.
Many of the items at Book and Music Exchange are priced individually based on popularity and appearance: items that are more popular and have been taken better care of are generally priced higher than items that are less popular and more worn. However, some items are priced lower if purchased in multiples. For example, romance and mystery paperbacks are sold either for half of the cover price or at four for $8. CDs are $7.99 each, three for $20 or five for $30.
If you're looking for vintage video games or video game systems, Book and Music Exchange is the place to go. In addition to the newest games on the market, Book in Music Exchange also carries games and systems from the past. In the video game section of the store, you'll find NES, SNES, Genesis, and Atari games sitting next to PS3, Wii, and Xbox 360 games.
Book and Music Exchange has four Kentuckiana locations: Bardstown Road, Preston Highway, and New Cut Road in Louisville and Market Street in New Albany. Additionally, the store has locations in Evansville, IN, Henderson, KY, and Owensboro, KY.
HelloMetro Tip: Book and Music Exchange has a Facebook page where updates about sales at the store are posted.
