
Music lovers will be excited to know that the 2011 Kentucky Derby Festival lineup is once again filled with Kroger Fest-a-Ville on the Waterfront concerts, bringing a mix of genres sure to satisfy all musical tastes at Waterfront Park.
All 2011 Kroger Fest-a-Ville on the Waterfront events require a 2011 Pegasus Pin for admission. Outside food and drinks and pets are not allowed at any of the concerts. Food and drink concessions will be available at each event, along with playground activities for children.

Saturday, April 30: Derby Festival Sonic Saturday
Soul Asylum perform their greatest hits repertoire at 9 p.m., sponsored by 100.5 Gen X Radio. Admission is free with a 2011 Pegasus Pin, or a medal from that day's Marathon or miniMarathon.
Sunday, May 1: Celebration Sunday with 88.5 WJIE
This event runs from 11 a.m.-11 p.m. and will feature family activities and performances by Rush of Fools at 5 p.m., Juno Award winners Downhere at 6 p.m. and Dove Award nominees Building 429 at 7 p.m.
Tuesday, May 3: Derby Festival Rhythmfest
Featuring performances by the Grammy Award winning group The Dazz Band (best known for their 1982 hit single "Let It Whip") at 8 p.m., and the S.O.S. Band at 9 p.m.
Wednesday, May 4: Derby Festival Wednesday Concert
Featuring alternative-country artist Todd Snider at 8 p.m.
Thursday, May 5: Derby Festival Tune It Up Thursday
Rock will be unleashed at Tune It Up Thursday featuring The Pass at 8 p.m. and Cage The Elephant at 9 p.m. Hailing from Bowling Green, Kentucky, Cage The Elephant's 2011 album Thank You, Happy Birthday debuted at #2 on the Billboard 200 chart in January.
Friday, May 6: The Derby Festival Derby Eve Jam
Featuring country artists Dustin Lynch at 8 p.m. and Justin Moore at 9 p.m.
Hello Louisville Tip: Fest-a-Ville at Waterfront Park isn't the only place offering great music during the Kentucky Derby Festival. Don't miss the Louisville Youth Orchestra at Iroquois Amphitheater on Sunday, April 25. This concert, now in its third year, will feature five Louisville Youth Orchestra ensembles.
