Grammy-winning music legend Charlie Daniels and his band will bring their eclectic sound to French Lick Resort in Southern Indiana Oct. 30.
Daniels, best known for his No. 1 country song and cross-over hit "The Devil Went Down to Georgia," won a Grammy Award for that song in 1979. He was inducted into the Grand Ole Opry last year. For one night only, Charlie Daniels will exhibit his 50 years of honkytonk, Western swing, folk, rock, country, bluegrass and gospel. In that time, Daniels has worked with nearly all of the legends of rock 'n roll and country music: Elvis Presley, Bob Dylan, Johnny Cash, Leonard Cohen and Hank Williams Jr.
The French Lick Resort is just a little more than an hour from downtown Louisville. Charlie Daniels and his band will perform in the Windsor Ballroom, which is on the second floor of the event center building attached to the French Lick Springs Hotel.
Tickets cost $25, $35, $55, $65 and $75. You can buy tickets online or by calling (877) 840–0457. For a map of the Windsor Ballroom, click here and scroll to the bottom of the page.
