
You won't believe your eyes when you catch the new holiday musical Cirque Dreams Holidaze. Cirque du Soleil will bring its holiday-themed show to the Louisville Palace for seven performances from Nov. 23 to Nov. 28.
The original musical extravaganza, which has been touring the country, comes the creators of the groundbreaking Broadway hit, Cirque Dreams Jungle Fantasy. The performances are scheduled for Tuesday, Nov. 23, at 7:30 p.m.; Wednesday, Nov. 24, at 7:30 p.m.; Friday, Nov. 26, at 8 p.m.; Saturday, Nov. 27, at 2 p.m. and 8 p.m.; and Sunday, Nov. 28 at 1 p.m. and 6 p.m.
Created and directed by Neil Goldberg, Cirque Dreams Holidaze is filled with spectacle, imagination and whimsical dreams. Ornaments come to life as costumed characters who perform astonishing feats that celebrate the holiday season and showcase pageantry, ingenuity and breathtaking artistry. An international cast of acrobats, aerialists, singers, dancers and musicians fill this Cirque Dream on stage, in the air and while dangling from a 24-foot-tall magical tree.
You’ll marvel at gingerbread men flipping through the air, toy soldiers skillfully marching on thin wires, snowmen daringly balancing, icemen sculpting powerfully, penguins spinning, puppets caroling and reindeer soaring high above a landscape of holiday wonderment. Tickets are priced at $19, $24, $29, $34, $39, $44, $49 and $54. The Louisville Palace’s website offers ticket buyers a chance to see the view from their seat before they buy.
