
Rising country-music star Dierks Bentley will perform at Horseshoe Casino Hotel Southern Indiana Aug. 2. The Southern Indiana resort is just 25 minutes from downtown Louisville.
Bentley's latest album is Feel That Fire, released in February. Both Bentley's 2003 self-titled debut album and his 2005 Modern Day Drifter have been certified platinum. His hit songs include “Long Trip Alone,” “Free and Easy Down the Road I Go,” “Come A Little Closer,” and “Every Mile a Memory.”
Bentley won the 2006 Country Music Award for male vocalist of the year, the 2004 Academy of Country Music Award's Top New Artist and the 2005 Academy of Country Music Award's Top Male Vocalist.
