Award-winning country superstar Hank Williams Jr. brings his gritty country-Southern rock sound to the Horseshoe Casino Hotel Southern Indiana on July 3. The Southern Indiana resort is just 25 minutes from downtown Louisville.
Williams' new single, "Red, White, and Pink Slip Blues," released last May, rose to become a top 40 single on Billboard Hot Country Singles chart.
Williams is probably best known for his growling rendition of the Monday Night Football theme, which has won the singer-songwriter four Emmy Awards. The theme is based on Williams' 1984 monster hit, "All My Rowdy Friends Are Coming Over Tonight." Along with Waylon Jennings and Willie Nelson, Williams was a pioneer in the so-call Outlaw Country music movement.
The only son of country music legend Hank Williams, Hank Jr. has six platinum albums and 13 No. 1 albums.
Hank Williams Jr.'s concert is just one in Horseshoe Southern Indiana's Outdoor Summer Concert Series.
Tickets are priced at $45, $55 and $85. To attend, you must be at least 21 years old. You can see a map of the outdoor stage here. Call (800) 745-3000 for reservations or buy tickets online.
