Larry the Cable Guy will perform two back-to-back performances at the Showroom at Horseshoe Casino Hotel Southern Indiana Oct. 10.
Larry the Cable Guy, the stage name of Nebraska-born Daniel Lawrence Whitney, is known for affecting a deep Southern drawl, his adult redneck humor and his catch phrases, "Lord, I apologize," "I don't care who ya are, that's funny right there," “Git-er-done!” and “What the hell is this, Russia?” He first came to fame via the Blue Collar Comedy Tour with Bill Engvall and Jeff Foxworthy.
The actor and stand-up comedian's show is strictly for mature audiences and isn't for those easily offended, as no topic or group is off limits to Larry the Cable Guy.
The self-styled Freight Train of Comedy has starred in three live-action movies, Larry the Cable Guy: Health Inspector (2006), Delta Farce (2007) and Witless Protection (2008) and provided the voice for Mater, the dilapidated and befuddled tow truck in Disney's animated Cars (2006). The actor will also star in the upcoming Larry the Cable Guy's Hula-Palooza Christmas Luau. In addition, Larry the Cable Guy has appeared on Showtime, MTV, Evening at the Improv and Comic Strip Live.
Besides his movie career, the former DJ has also released five comedy albums and a book, Git-R-Done!
Tickets are priced at $45, $55 and $75. You can see a map of the Showroom here. Call (800) 745-3000 for reservations or buy tickets online; there's a limit of six tickets per household.
