Get your kids out of the house for some active fun at the first-ever Louisville Kids Fair, which will be held at the downtown Louisville Kentucky International Convention Center March 26-27. The Louisville Kids Fair is designed with both kids and their parents in mind and will be chock full of family activities, entertainment and resources.
The Louisville Kids Fair is still keeping a few secrets about just what to expect, but what’s already been announced sounds like a blast for all ages. Kids will love the petting zoo and pony rides, clowns, face painting, an appearance by several local school and university mascots, and a meet and greet with the burger-flipping fool from Bikini Bottom, Sponge Bob Square Pants. There will be separate inflatable sections for different age groups, so parents can relax and be assured that their little ones won’t get steamrolled by the bigger kiddos.
Parents will love the educational activities cleverly disguised as fun and games, like the fire and safety zones and hands-on activity learning centers. There will also be an exhibitor area for parents to pick up free information and materials from local family resources including schools, tutoring, dental and healthcare, wellness programs, and other products and services geared toward families.
Louisville travel agent Vacations By V will be giving away a four-day, three-night trip to Disney World in Orlando, FL, to one lucky family. The trip will include airfare from Louisville, hotel and tickets to Walt Disney World. Register online at the Kids Fair website.
Tickets have not yet gone on sale, so check out the website for more information. This promises to be a great opportunity to get the whole family out of the house.
