Lyle Lovett plays French Lick Resort on July 18
Lyle Lovett has endeared discerning audiences with his off-beat country sound, one with influences from folk, blues, jazz, swing and gospel music. Lovett and his Large Band will play July 18 at French Lick Resort.
Lovett has won four Grammy Awards, including Best Country Male Vocal in 1989. His latest album, It's Not Big It's Large, which peaked at No. 2 on the Top Country Albums chart on the Billboard Charts.
Lovett has made several movies, including The Player (1992), The Opposite of Sex (1998) and Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story (2007).
The French Lick Resort is just a little more than an hour from downtown Louisville. Lovett's concert will be in the Windsor Ballroom, which is on the second floor of the event center building attached to the French Lick Springs Hotel.
