Mary Wilson delivers Supreme night on March 13

Motown legend Mary Wilson and the Louisville Orchestra will deliver a Supreme performance on March 13 at Whitney Hall in the Kentucky Center for the Arts.

Wilson, a founding member of the most popular female trio of all time, the Supremes, sang such hits as Stop in the Name of Love,” “Come See About Me” and “Baby Love.” She'll help audience members relive the 1960s with that Motown sound of yesteryear.

Wilson was just 15 when she helped form the Supremes. The super stars went on to score 12 No. 1 hits. Wilson has released 40 albums, been inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame and penned several autobiographies, including Dreamgirl: My Life As a Supreme.

Under the direction of Bob Bernhardt, the principal Pops conductor, the Louisville Orchestra will accompany Wilson as she croons torch songs, numbers from her Supremes days and more modern fare.

You can buy tickets online or by calling (502) 584–7777 or toll-free at (800) 775–7777. You can also visit the Kentucky Center Box Office from Monday through Saturday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Sunday, from noon to 5 p.m. You can view a seating chart of Whitney Hall here.
