Planet Earth Camp set for July, August

The Gheens Science Hall and Rauch Planetarium will host two sessions of Planet Earth Camp this summer.

Students, aged 9 to 11, can learn the latest scientific information on what makes Earth special through this hands-on, fast-paced camp, one that combines learning, play, teamwork and creativity. The five-day camp costs $150 for planetarium family members and $200 for non-members.

The two sessions are July 27–31 and Aug. 3–7. The camps run from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. You can register online or by calling (502) 852-6665. For more information, check out the planetarium's Summer Camp webpage, call the planetarium or email planet @ louisville.edu.
