Singer John Legend to visit Horseshoe July 24

Six-time Grammy Award winner John Legend will perform his soulful tunes at the Horseshoe Casino Hotel Southern Indiana on July 24. Legend — singer, songwriter and pianist — has performed with singers as varied as Snoop Dogg, Sérgio Mendes, Comedy Central's Stephen Colbert, rapper Andre 3000 of OutKast, Colombian rocker Juanes and reggae superstar Buju Banton.

Legend's first album, 2004's Get Lifted, went platinum several times over. His third album, Evolver, was released last October. Last January, Legend performed at the presidential inauguration.

John Legend's concert is just one in Horseshoe Southern Indiana's Outdoor Summer Concert Series.

Tickets are priced at $40, $45 and $75. To attend, you must be at least 21 years old. You can see a map of the outdoor stage here. Call (800) 745-3000 for reservations or buy tickets online; however, there's a limit of six tickets for the Hot Seats Packages.
