
Long a welcome sight at festivals and parades with their 10-foot-tall papier-mâché puppets, Squallis Puppeteers offers monthly shows. These shows delight both children and their parents with their clever wordplay and outsized puppets.
Squallis Puppeteers opens its door to the public at its School of Sharks Theater, located on the second floor of Our Mother of Sorrows School, on the first Saturday of every month at its so-called 1st Saturday Show. The family-friendly performance costs just $5 per person! After each show, Squallis Puppeteers conduct a puppet-making workshop; the workshop costs $5 per puppet.
Doors open at 12:45 p.m., and all shows begin at 1 p.m. The ensuing workshop ends at 3 p.m. The schedule follows:
