In "Weekend Comedy" at the Derby Dinner Playhouse, a misunderstanding leads two very different couples — one middle-aged and married, the other young and casually living together — to each claim a weekend in a woodsy cabin. When the couples decide to share the cabin in the Catskill Mountains as a last resort, audiences at Weekend Comedy will guffaw at the generation gap that’s exposed.
The 500-seat Derby Dinner Playhouse is just minutes from downtown Louisville.
The show, which runs from January 11 to February 20, was written by Jeanne and Sam Bobrick. Other works by Sam Bobrick include Norman, Is That You? and Murder at the Howard Johnson’s, both of which played on Broadway in the 1970s.
Tickets cost $30 to $39, depending on day and time. Tickets are available online or by calling (812) 288–8281. There are group rates for groups of 20 or more.
