Weezer rocks Horseshoe Southern Indiana June 11
Alternative rock band Weezer will stop at Horseshoe Casino Hotel Southern Indiana June 11 as part of their 2010 Raditude tour, just a day before they perform at Bonnaroo.
Founded in 1992 in Los Angeles, the band has sold 8 million records. Weezer has released seven albums, five EPs and a DVD; they’re best known for the singles “Buddy Holly,” “Undone: The Sweater Song,” “Beverly Hill,” “Pork and Beans” and “Island in the Sun.” Their seventh album, Ratitude, was released in November.
Weezer recorded its own version of the Monkees’ “I'm a Believer” for the upcoming Dreamworks animated feature, Shrek Forever After. The band has consistently sold out tours — even when they were performing under an assumed name!
