Get Your Novel On (this RSVP list is only for those sharing their writing)
'Get Your Short Story On' didn't sound as cool. There are now 2 sign-up lists! Please pay attention. Look at this particular sign-up list as reserving time for your to share your story. If you are sure you have work to present, RSVP here, but if you are going to attend and critique, but not present, then use the 2nd meeting RSVP list that is for critiquers only. The Feb. 20th meeting was fantabulous! We will continue our winning ways: we have enacted a small group cohesion policy allowing you to get deeper into a person's work. It also helps us see the story evolve and you can hold writers accountable to enacting revisions. When we switch up after 2 months, you then get fresh perspectives on your work and can network with others in the group. We are trying to keep the same small groups 2 months in a row for better consistency, but not stay apart so long that you don't get to hear some people's stories. Please read earlier posts for more details on group basics, what to present, tips on critiquing, etc. and email Dave with any questions. Other business: I got my VISA statement and I will ask $5 per attendee to offset the $60 Meet-up.com organizer advertising fee which is charged to me every 3 months. After I get $60 I stop hitting people up for money.
