The Knit Nook is a cozy, family operated, knitting and crochet store located in the heart of Louisville, KY's Highlands neighborhood. We sell fine yarns, and the necessary tools to produce fun and stylish creations. We specialize in not only supplying your hobby, but also providing our fine city and its visitors a place to find kindred spirits, obtain help and inspiration for their projects, learn to knit or crochet, take their skills up a notch, and just have some fun!

While space is somewhat limited, you are always welcome to take some time out to knit or crochet at the nook. We care about each individual and will go to great lengths to insure your experience with us has been a pleasant one. We offer a variety of classes and workshops for all levels. No matter where you are in your journey, The Knit Nook has something for you.

The fiber arts community is expanding at an incredible rate. We are very proud to be a part of this movement and we hope evolve and grow as its members do. We are extremely thankful to all the amazing people who have helped to put us on the map and we hope to see you soon.
