Buckhead Mountain Grill: Casual Atmosphere, Hearty Mountain Fare
Buckhead Mountain Grill is like a visit to a Colorado lodge. Whether drinks with co-workers after work, a family meal, or a romantic evening out, you'll love the casual atmosphere and the fine steaks, ribs and hearty fare at Buckhead Mountain Grill.
Just a whiff of the char-grilled beef 20 feet from the door will leave you feeling famished, so get going on your meal quickly with one of Buckhead's satisfying starters. You can't beat the fried green tomatoes (made with Panko bread crumbs) and its creamy, mustardy dipping sauce ($6.99).
After that, you'll struggle over the eclectic menu with options as varied as Fireside Fajitas ($9.99 to $11.99) and Wyoming-style Pot Pie™ ($8.99). Should you go with the marinated and grilled salmon ($14.29)? Or one of the rib entrees? You can choose from a full rack of ribs ($18.99), a half-rack ($14.99); a third-rack of ribs with an eight-ounce Certified Angus Beef® sirloin, grilled to perfection ($18.99); chicken and ribs ($17.99) and ribs and a skewer of shrimp ($18.99). (Most entrees come with two sides.)
Or should you choose one of Buckhead's four burgers ($7.49–$8.99), all served with Buckhead's Signature Seasoned Chips? (Substitute a house or Caesar salad for another $2.49.) Or select any of five different chicken entrees ($8.99–$10.99), or something else on Buckhead's lengthy menu.
Eating with small fry? Children 10 and younger can select from the Lil' Bucks menu ($3.49–$4.99).
Try to save room for dessert — a tall order at Buckhead! The Pike's Peak Pie® pours chocolate and peanut butter ice cream into a chocolate Graham cracker crust and tops it with crushed Reeses Peanut Butter Cups®, hot fudge, hot peanut butter sauce and whipped cream ($5.99).
Another decadent dessert is the Grand Teton Chunky Brownies ($5.49), which are warm brownies topped with vanilla ice cream and then chunks of chocolate, pecans, caramel. caramel and chocolate sauces and whipped cream finish off the dessert. Other desserts are cheesecake with strawberry, chocolate, caramel, or peanut butter sauce ($4.99); carrot cake ($4.99) or peach or blackberry hot cobbler ($4.99).
