Christian Academy of Indiana Reviews

Christian Academy of Indiana is an excellent school and a true blessing to my family. My children have attended the school since kindergarten and have received a very good Bible-based education. They have had a challenging academic program as well as the opportunity to participate in athletics, music, drama, and club activities. Christian Academy of Indiana has been a great partner with our family in the education of our children. I know our children have a super education and have grown in their development of a biblical worldview.

We have been a part of Christian Academy for six years (PS-5) and have enjoyed working with wonderful teachers and talented administrators. The new campus has so much to offer including expanded athletics, music depts. and two libraries. My elementary students have been able to join extracurricular activities such as book club, band and piano lessons. The teachers have the best interest of my child in mind and it is a joy to have a teacher pray with you for your student. My children are receiving an excellent education based on Biblical truths.

We have 3 children attending this school and are very pleased with elementary, middle and highschools. Christ is the center of all that is taught. The new buildings are fantastic and many new possibilities are opening up!

My husband and I had been supporters of public schools and started our children there. They didn't have the structure we thought was needed to encourage learning. After many years of praying, we were drawn to Christian Academy. I knew the first day when we met with students, parents, grandparents, teachers and faculty and it began with prayer that we had made the right decision. We wanted a full circle with God, family and education, hand-in-hand. With God's direction, our obedience and CAI, it was done ... Our children love the Lord and excelled well beyond our expectations. We would have never dreamed both would have been valedictorians and have such a desire to continue to learn. Our son has also been accepted at the IU Medical School. We want to thank all the teachers, coaches and faculty that helped shape my children into the wonderful young adults they are today.

As a former graduate, I was blessed with parents that cared enough to see that I received a Christian education. This school greeted our family with teachers that were wonderfully supportive, an administration that has been serving the needs of families for over 35 years, and strict academic standards that prepared me for college. More important, this school gave me a Biblical foundation that I will keep for the rest of my adult life. Because of this school I have developed lasting friendships, learned the value of Christian service and received every opportunity to succeed in life. Thanks Christian Academy!

This is an excellent school, for those parents who expect high academic standards and Christian moral values. Our family is very thankful for this alternative to public schools. We also like the fact that is state accredited and held to the state standards. Parent participation is greatly encouraged, which leads to better communication. The staff is very dedicated to the success of the students and it shows. My two sons are held to high standards at school, consistent with home, and I appreciate that.

I think this is an excellent school. My daughter has scored a 98-100% on all of the standardized tests that she has taken. The teachers have worked with her any time she has had problems. They teach good Christian values and used the Bible as a wonderful tool.

This school treated my daughter like she was a 'heathen'. Because of this, she was also graded unfairly, and punished for ridiculous things. The staff at Graceland expected the mother in our family to be available for random meetings, even though she works, and told us we were not supporting our child and not there for her because we could not drop our life for meetings. I was not impressed with this school, and our child was taken out. When she went back to a regular school, she was a year behind the students in her class because she was not taught the state standards like every public school is made to do.
