Eliahu Academy Reviews

It's an amazing enviornment for my children. Secular studies are top notch, my children are learning things at a grade level ahead of the other schools. In addition to secular, the teachings of Jewish values and traditions is unavailable anywhere else. Very nurturing and accesable staff and faculty. Could not be happier with the education my children receive.

Some EXCELLENT teachers there, very strong Jewish 'environment' concerning Hebrew studies, Feasts, etc. Mrs. Tasman, 2nd grade, the BEST teacher ANY child could hope to have. Incredibly organized, efficient, and 'in control' of her classroom, and every kid in it at all times. Simply amazing how much she could teach a 2nd grader in one year! Older grades quite 'liberal' in discipline and control of classrooms. More important to 'allow student expression' than TEACH core subjects. Older students allowed in classrooms without adult supervision-w/ resultant 'conflicts of personality.' Didn't care for Purim dressup contest w/ boys dressed as women (they WON?!). This against Torah. Principal concerned w/ 'being a buddy' to children, than being 'authority' figure to them, however readily play the 'authority' to parents as someone who has 'older kids' and knows what is 'best' for YOUR child. Rec. younger grades. Need stronger leadership and control for older grades. (Maybe Mrs. Tasman should

Very nurturing environment. My child loves to go to school and that's as much as I can ask.
