She began to dismantle the rigor, accept students who could not do the work and catered to spoiled parents and kids. My children attended SHMS and received a fantastic education but the decline began with Dr. W. All schools go through difficult periods. SHMS remains a wonderful opportunity with students and graduates who are well-educated. It is a bargain for what you get.”

“When Dr. Wannemeuler was the principal the school was fantastic, had a very good environment, and every student was properly challenged, but when she left everything went downhill, the teaching staff is not nearly as good as it used to be and tuition is getting more and more expensive next year, many of the rules at the school are now very unreasonable and pointless.”

Parents in the community are more than willing to put the money out there for their childrens' education. It is not good educational value at SHMS! Tuition in 2008-2009 school year is 10k.
