Our Savior Lutheran School Reviews

I love Our Savior. I like scool especially our math teacher. He made math easier for me. And I love basketball. It is totally awesome.

Louisville's best kept secret. Great school! The quality of the education is outstanding.

Our Savior's a great school! The small classes and environment make it easier for children to learn!

I love Our Savior! I graduated about two years ago, and I can't begin to say how much going there has helped me. I was well prepared for high school, I had made friends to last a life time, and I have grown in my faith.

My child loves school, teacher, and the principal. I always feel welcome when I enter the school, and I'm always kept involved. The school always has fun activities that make my child look forward to the next day. It has tremendous involvement by the parents too. We found it easy and quick to meet new friends. This all helps create a since of pride and ownership in the school that provides support to the administration to ensure that it keeps it high academic standards. I can only think of one short coming which is the lack of sports/PE, it does have some but that is the only area of improvement I can site. I know I am not the only mom who feels so satisfied after dropping my son off that he is in a caring, safe environment, getting an excellent education and that we have made an excellent choice.

I graduated from OSLS about 2 years ago. I attended the school since PK and I loved it. The thing I remember most was 6-8th grade because of the excellent teachers. They prepared me really well for high school. My favorite teacher was and still is Mr.Schultz, the 8th grade teacher/math/history/pe. He is an excellent math teacher and once in high school the algebra came as a breeze. He prepares you really well. The whole school does.

We had tried 2 other private schools (KCD and Christian Academy) in the Louisville area and found Our Savior Lutheran School to be superior in all facets of our childs' education. They provide a challenging core curriculum complemented by Spanish, Computer and Music classes. The special part about this program is the nurturing environment that encourages all children to be the best they possibly can, to be proud of their individual accomplishments, and to love the learning process. We are so thankful we discovered the best kept secret in Louisville's education system... Our Savior's Lutheran School!

We have had all four of our children attend this wonderful school from preschool through the eighth grade. The foundation they received at Our Savior in the education of both the heart and the mind has been very evident. The principal of the Christian high school they later attended calls Our Savior 'the Rock', because of the academic capabilities and spiritual maturity their graduates bring with them. The quality of the faculty is excellent, and the programs are top-notch. This school gives tremendous value for the dollar.

Two of our daughters attend Our Savior, and we intend to send our younger two children there as well. This school has the most caring, supportive atmosphere of any we have encountered. The teachers are top notch, and Christian behavior is genuinely modeled and expected. Pre-K through Grade 3 have kind, encouraging, nurturing teachers. Academics become quite rigorous at the fourth grade level. The middle school is fantastic, with a phenomenal math teacher. He has brought our daughter from being a struggling math student to participating in the Duke TIPS program. We also have an excellent computer/technology program. It's a great school. Come and see!
