Spring Hill Elementary School Reviews

Spring Hill continues to strive for greatness. Students are encouraged to paricipate in a variety of activities after school in sports, music, art, math, science. This school is doing well in ISTEP and will continue to produce smart confident well adjusted children. A+ to Mrs. Cunnigham-Lester, Mr. Peters and the Spring Hill teachers and staff.

Spring Hill Elementary is a school with wonderful teachers, para-educators, administrators, and students. Spring Hill teachers and students work hard daily to achieve academic and social growth.

Spring Hill puts a large emphasis on the student safety. I wish the school could get funding to improve the air conditioning in the entire school and have a larger playground. But the students like her, and she makes sure the students follow the rules and keep in order. The school has an incentive for good behavior. They get a high five for good behavior and after 15 the students are able to turn those into the office for a prize. The students enjoy this and helps them take pride in their behavior and good deeds. Overall, this is a great small school that feels like a communtiy. I'm told the special needs dept is great. There is alot of intergration of the 'special needs' students with the 'regular' classes which is positive for all students.

I am very pleased with the quality of the staff at Spring Hill School. They are very caring towards the students. The principal Mrs.Cunnigham is a very motivating person. She inspires all the children to their no matter what their circumstances are. My daughter enjoys going to school every day. Many families attend and participate in functions. I would like to see GC school corporation spend more money on the school i.e. air conditioning for the gym, swings for the playground. This a very safe school.
