William W Borden Elementary School Reviews

We have experienced both a large school with a lot of students and now Borden, which is a small school. My daughter has excelled, due to the small class size and the attention she recieved from the teacher, whom I give all the credit for the all A's and one B on her report card. Private education can't offer what Borden offered my child. 15-1 ratio. We are looking forward to another great year for our daughter next year.

We are extremely impressed with Myra Powell's (principal) dedication to her school. We could not ask for a better principal! The only negative with the school is that we are small, so the availability of sports and extracurricular activities is limited. However, we also have small class sizes where each student gets optimal individual attention. Parental involvement is encouraged. There are several volunteer opportunities within the school and classrooms. The academics are excellent. I am impressed with what my daughter is learning for her age. Her teachers are knowledgeable, caring and enthusiastic. Borden is a small community that is dedicated to its residents and its schools. As a side note, West Clark hired a new superintendent this year. Many people in the district are very happy and looking forward to his leadership.

We are glad that our kids attend Borden, the teachers are great and they really care, which is hard to find today.

I am extreamly happy and excited to have my children attend Borden. The teachers and staff are of the highest quality and have true concern for the students. Its nice to know there are still schools out there that are concerned for the student rather then what the state can give them for thier presence.
