Mount Washington Middle School Reviews

This school is terific I have learned so much here. I want everyone else to know that. All of the teachers are great and help me on anything im stuck on. Not once have i had any problems with bullies or any type of fear in school, exsept mabey getting nervous for a test. I would deffinatly recomend this school to anyone. I previously had gone to a private school and the curriculum has definatly measured up. The one thing i love the most is all of the extra activities this school offers. Even though i don't like to where uniform i still admire this school deeply. So if you are looking for a school to go to MWMS is definatly the right school.

MWMS has some good things and bad things. A good thing is your child is greatly socialized, and around others. Some things that are bad are there are bullies, disruptive students, and too many students to a teacher, and there are fights. My child has seen some fights, many occur in the bathroom where adults aren't likely to see. I have some worries about this and strongly advise a private school. Plus the teachers are too worried about disruptive children, that they can't teach to the willing.

MWMS is an excellent school. Students are challenged and expected to do well. The school consistantly exceeds the state averages in all areas of testing. To find more information about the school go to their web site @ www.bullitt.k12.ky.usmwms/

This school is not the school to choose if you want your child to excel, my child was promoted on to 8th grade with no grade above a 68, when i questioned how this could happen no one had an answer not even the board of education, i opted to retain my child and was criticized by the pricipal for doing so. The teachers are so busy dealing with kids with social issues that the ones that really want to learn are left in the dark and cant excell. I feel the board of education needs to take a good look inside this school.
