Every child gets special attention because the teachers and administrators care so much. Kids excel (look at the test scores - really high for all groups of kids!) I have two sons that attend now and one due to start next August! The teachers are so nice and really try there hardest to do what is best for each individual student! It is also a very fun school! I also feel that the teacher's leave the kids that are not so advanced on the back burner and that they just move them along. I feel bad because one of my kids are in that school and I am there everyday and see it for myself. They let the more advanced students do the job of the teacher and assistant teacher. The school always welcomes parents and many of the teachers send their own kids there. They have music, art, basketball team, computer classes, gym classes, spanish classes, etc. Great particpation in the PTA. Put out a newsletter for upcoming events and what happened previously to keep all parents up to date. Once a month the school goes skating. Our son's reading has so improved this year in first grade and we give the teacher most of that credit. He has been able since kindergarten to participate in chess and now has the opportunity to take Spanish once a week! Teachers have an open door policy; and, the administration in the building is very approachable. The PTA and parent involvement are outstanding. The atmosphere is very calm in the bulding. We are so thankful that our 6 yr our child spends his almost 7 hour day at Lowe!”
