Brown Elementary School Reviews

We are very happy at Brown School. We see outstanding teachers with great classroom management skills, structure built into activities, and positive attitudes. Very respectful atmosphere. My kids are learning, growing, and developing great skills in a nurturing, yet challenging environment. I love the Kindergarten class and 2nd grade class my kids are in. Music program is wonderful too. All office staff and administrative staff are great too.

Excellent environment, excellent staff. A family atmosphere prevails, with many students going from K-12 together. It is sometimes disorganized, sometimes hectic, but it is always a stimulating environment. You can tell that the primary goal is not 'keeping everyone in line', but the advancement of the entire student body. Independence is a primary goal of the Brown School, it is also one of the most important things I try to foster in my children.

School is not for everyone. Diversity and differences are okay only if child's learning style conforms to the majority. Not for children who do not perform well in hectic or whimsical enviroment. Class structure lacking in most but not all K-1 classes. Make sure you request specific class/teacher assignment for your child, not all classes are created equal!
