Moore Traditional Middle School Reviews

My daughter goes to moore. The teachers to me dont try that hard to help her she has ADD. She has a few good teachers. I try to get information by email. I am lucky to get a reply.

I have had a child there for almost 5 years now, he seems to think the teachers are more than average on there education standards. He went to the middle school and now is in the high school. It is a good enviorment

its a great school it has everything you ever wanted in school

My child has gone to this school since the 6th grade and now is in the 8th. I have not been impressed with the teachers attitudes toward the children. I know children are not perfect angels all of the time, but we need to remember children learn by example.

Moore Traditional Middle school is very unorganized and that may be due to the combination of high school and middle school together. There is a severe lack of communication. The middle school students are subjected to carrying excessively heavy book bags and laptops around school all day because they are only allowed one locker break. The teachers do not credit the students accordingly for their completed assignments. I can't wait to transfer my child from this school. There are numerous fights on the buses and in school daily. There is a police officer on site every day.

I am a student actually at Moore Traditional School and I have to say they have the best learning community. There teachers are actually warm and welcoming and they teach there kids all they can. When i first came to Moore middle school i felt scared and alone. I had moved from Ohio and as a couple of months past iflet it was time to move on the teachers were great and the friends were to. I think everybody in Moore deserves an A+. I alos have to say that one of the teachers Mrs. Hagans she deserves alot of appreciation and honor it is an honor to be in her language arts classroom everyday -*Dejasper Dorsey*-

Teachers are not there for the students. Each child is labeled as 'bad' coming into the school and treated as such. There is major lack of communication between office personnel, causing the children, when being threatened or mistreated, to feel they cannot go to staff for help. Teachers do not openly listen to the children and show no compassion/trust in the children.

To review a school you must honestly look at the community supporting that school. Which I would like to twist 180 degrees. First of all, I was a regular substitute teacher for the school. Think about how the school rallied around me when I was hit by that truck back in Feb. '03. Due to my current medical status I am no longer able to work at this school but some of the staff still keep in touch with me. Like I was saying, when I was hit the students started fundraisers and did whatever it took to help me when I needed it most. How can anyone honestly rate this school poorly, when the true judge of a person is the quality of their character. The children at this school are taught more than just the three R's they are also taught respect and responsibility, it is that type of person I want taking care of me when I'm a senior citizen. This school's staff deserves credit for doing more with less than the other 'privileged' schools in the district. A school and its students are a reflection of the community, so if one rates a school poorly they think little of themselves.

This school I was very torn with because I had heard some things about it but to my suprise you cant always belive what you hear. This has been a very good school my children love it and the staff is just wounderful. I would have to give this school an a+. They walk the students to and from class so there is another + they keep to the rules on dress codes and that tells me that they keep thir rules about every thing. I love it
