North Oldham Middle School Reviews

I do not like north oldham middle school! i have gone there for all my years of middle school, the education is great! but the kids are horrible. The kids there are unwelcoming to new kids, bratty rich snobs and the only thing the principal cares about is the money and the test scores being better then everyone else. The teachers say there want students to be in a safe environment. If they wanted us to be safe and welcomed then the kids would have manners and not make fun of other less fortune kids. If your kid is a sweetheart and is an angel. Don't let then go to north oldham middle school. The kids there will tear your innocent child to bits and pieces. Like they all do to me. I just wanted to warn all of you smart parents. :)

Looks better on paper. Student-teacher ratio 18:1-not same as class size. Some have 30 students. More structure would go a long way. Accelerated classes based on 1 or 2 test scores-grades do not factor in. This divides students-smart/not so smart.

north oldham is a very good school for academics but the people there can be mean and snobby i've been there three years and nothing has changed. it has a some what negative envoroment

While interested in continuing my childs academic career in a public school forum, I find the level of academics at North Oldham to be less challenging for our child compared to elsewhere in the nation. We have recently moved to Kentucky and have found that the public education is substandard to the level found elsewhere in our nation. The staff is wonderful, however we wish the children were challenged to prepare them for their college careers ahead. (even in middle school)

This school is filled with wounderful equipment such as computers and projectors. The teachers are all awesome

Yes the school acedemically is passable, but be prepared to deal with snobbish Parents and kids that have never been told no. You will find if you are not part of the upper class and do not wish to vounteer for every envent then you will not fit in.

The teachers are committed to the students success and it shows. Dr. Brooks is a great addition to the North Oldham team.
